Hello students!  I am so excited to begin the 2020-2021 school year!  I began my teaching career at BHS in 1998 and taught for five years until my first child was born.  I spent the next 13 years at home with my family.  In 2016, I was so blessed to return to BHS and have truly enjoyed every part of it!  This is my fifth year teaching again, and this year I will be teaching ecology and physics.  I love teaching these subjects, and I am truly excited to meet each one of you!  I graduated from Shorter University in 1995 with a major in biology and minor in chemistry.  I received my M.Ed. and Ed.S. in science education from the University of Georgia in 2000 and 2002, respectively. 
 
In my free time, I love to spend time with my husband and 3 children.  I also love to travel with my family, cook and enjoy new things!
