The 2020 BHS Academic Booster Club’s Virtual Academic Awards Program will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Many seniors will receive scholarships from the Academic Booster Club. Please join us online as we celebrate Excellence in Academics for the Class of 2020!

PowerSchool will be closed beginning on Thursday, May 7. Grades will be available again on Friday, May 22 from 3pm-11pm.

Beginning Monday, March 16, 2020, students at Buford High School will participate in Digital Learning Days. Please view this document to understand the expectations for Digital Learning. Thank you for supporting our students!

Make sure to study and be prepared for Benchmark Two! Teachers are available for assistance Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 7:10-7:40am, and after school assistance is available in the media center every Tuesday & Wednesday from 3:00-4:05pm.

On Tuesday, January 28th, Vaping Attention To Prevention Club (VA2P) leaders Marco Borrego, Juan Borrego, Jada Carabello, and advisor Jeff Gillis visited with Governor Kemp at the Capitol before testifying for the State Senate on the detriments of vaping to the health of youth. We are proud of the way they represent Buford High School and fulfill an important part of our mission: "and to care!"

Please join us on January 31st at 7pm and February 1st at 2pm & 7pm for the 5th Annual Buford Dance Concert. Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased from any dance student. There are 167 students in our dance program, and this will be a show you don't want to miss!

Please join us on January 12th at 2pm and January 13th & 14th at 7pm at the BHS Performing Arts Center as the Wolf Pack Players proudly present Honk Jr!, The Musical! Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased through GoFan or at the door.

On January 16th at 6:00pm BHS will host a guest speaker, Kenneth Haney, who will talk about the dangers of vaping. Breakout topics will also be available and include: The Suicide Epidemic, How e-Cigarettes Affect the Brain, Cultural Diversity, Paying for College, and School Safety. Please join us at this informative night for parents with students of all ages.
